This show is typical of the first Ziggy shows : the audience is fairly calm and there are spells of silence between the numbers... That shows that most of them didn't know much about Bowie or even nothing at all.
There is an exception at the beginning of 'Space Oddity' when they start to applause as the song begins...
There is a funny moment during the intro to the song : Bowie tries to imitate the lift-off of the rocket from the song with his mouth and you can hear the audience laugh about it !
C'est un excellent show, tres electrique avec des titres que Bowie n'interpretera qu'au début de la tournée, comme 'I Feel Free' (reprise des Creams) ou 'Got To Get A Job' (reprise surprenante de James Brown).
This is an excellent show, very electric, with some numbers Bowie will only sing at the beginning of the tour, such as 'I Feel Free' (A Cream number) or 'Got To Get A Job' (a surprising James Brown reprise).
For The Man' : "We shall continue with a number written by somebody I admire very much, an American songwriter called Lou Reed".
He'll sing some more tributes that night such as 'Amsterdam' (J.Brel) and two Lou Reed numbers, 'White Light White Heat' and 'Waiting For The Man'
The first part was played by the JSD Band, a group formed in 1969. Its name came from the initials of the three main members of the band, Jim Divers, Sean O'Rouke and Des Coffield. They split up in July 1974
(see the Wikipedia link above).
De plus celle-ci contient l'intro du show ("I'm David Bowie, these could be the Spiders From Mars, but this is some of our music") alors que le bootleg l'ignore...
The two sources presented above have a good soundquality with a preference for the Tape--->Cdr version which is more complete with the full intro to the show (the bootleg simply ignore it or was made from a tape which didn't have it...).
